Ilya Kurakov began his professional career under the guidance of Alla Vasilyevna Kellerman, Patent Attorney No. 757, and then continued it as a state expert on intellectual property at Rospatent. At Rospatent, Ilya Kurakov was the direct person who made decisions on registering trademark applications. As an expert from Rospatent, Ilya Kurakov reviewed more than 3,500 trademark applications.

This vast experience allows him to prepare comprehensive strategies for registering the most complex designations, including well-known trademarks, GU, and NMPT. Under the leadership of Ilya Kurakov, the Innovation Trademark Registration Department registered more than 170 trademarks in six months of intensive work. A team led by Ilya Kurakov registers trademarks in foreign jurisdictions and CIS countries, and international registration takes place under the Madrid system.
