Represented the client's interests in a case involving the removal of assets

The client contacted K&P.Group in connection with the consideration of a case in the Republic of Cyprus at his request. The application was to declare actions to withdraw assets as unfair, limit the powers of directors and other persons acting on behalf of the defendants, as well as to recover compensation in the amount of $23 million caused to the client as a minority participant in the company through illegal fraudulent actions to withdraw the assets of legal entities that are part of the group of companies.

K&P.Group was faced with the task of ensuring the protection of the client's rights and legitimate interests in the Russian Federation and preventing the continuation of the withdrawal of financial assets of Russian defendant companies. K&P.Group experts have developed a strategy for identifying assets and preventing their withdrawal. A lawsuit has been initiated to establish interim measures in the form of seizure of assets of Russian defendant companies. The result of a well-developed strategy and a prepared application was the approval of the application by the court of first instance.
